The Local Government Unit of Legazpi City, Albay has certified the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Bicol Regional Office (DPWH Region 5) as 100 percent Smoke-Free Establishment.

DPWH to heighten infra development in CAR this 2017
More high impact projects will be implemented by the Department of Public Works and Highways - Cordillera Administrative Region (DPWH-CAR) in line with the ‘Build, Build, Build’ campaign of the government, says Regional Director Nerie Bueno.
During the Kapihan Media Forum held on July 4, 2017, Director Bueno mentioned two ongoing projects that will enhance mobility and propel economic growth in the region.
DPWH-CAR cites infra accomplishments for 2016
Director Nerie D. Bueno boast off the accomplishments of the Department of Public Works and Highways - Cordillera Administrative Region (DPWH-CAR) in a report during the Kapihan Media Forum held on July 4, 2017.
The Regional Office has paved a total of 1,761 kilometers of national roads or 91% of its total commitment in CY 2010 as of last year’s road condition system.
It also implemented a total of 320 bridge projects and 56 have approved funds for their conversion to permanent bridges this year.
Cordillera gets P13.9 B Infra projects
Department of Public Works and Highways – Cordillera Administrative Region (DPWH-CAR) was allotted more than ₱13.9 billion worth of infrastructure projects for implementation in 2017.

The Department of Public Works and Highways - Cordillera Administrative Region (DPWH-CAR) was recognized as the most improved regional office on overall accomplishments in the latest report of the DPWH Central Office.
