
Director Nerie D. Bueno boast off the accomplishments of the Department of Public Works and Highways - Cordillera Administrative Region (DPWH-CAR) in a report during the Kapihan Media Forum held on July 4, 2017.
The Regional Office has paved a total of 1,761 kilometers of national roads or 91% of its total commitment in CY 2010 as of last year’s road condition system.
It also implemented a total of 320 bridge projects and 56 have approved funds for their conversion to permanent bridges this year.
For other infrastructure projects, Director Bueno also disclosed that a budget of P385 million was allotted for improving 127 farm-to-market roads; of which 94.37 % were already completed.
A total of 111 school building projects were also implemented with 27 academic, secondary and senior high school buildings constructed and 53 still ongoing.
It also handled 61 projects under the Department of Health’s (DOH) “Health Facilities Enhancement Program” with a budget of P101.4 Million, in which 29 projects were completed while 21 are ongoing.
