Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Regional Office 12 and its pilot District Engineering Office (DEO) – South Cotabato II DEO was awarded ISO 9001:2008 Certification by the Anglo Japanese American (AJA) Registrars for their Quality Management System (QMS).
The granting of ISO certification to DPWH Regional Office 12 was part of the department's efforts to make the remaining all the DPWH Regional Offices ISO 9001:2008 certified.
The Department of Public Works and Highways Region 4A and the Batangas Third District Engineering Office are now ISO 9001:2008-certified. In a ceremony held in June, Secretary Rogelio L, Singson handed over the certification of each office to DPWH 4A Regional Director Samson L. Hebra and Batangas Third District Engineering Office OIC-District Engineer Prescila R. Ramos the certification, along with 32 other offices that were recently certified.
A total of 44 young civil engineer - 22 from Luzon, 10 from Visayas, and 12 from Mindanao – have completed the six-month long intensive training under the third batch of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Cadet Engineering Program (CEP). DPWH Secretary Rogelio L. Singson announced this during the graduation ceremonies of the third batch of Department’s Cadet Engineering Program (CEP) held at the DPWH Head Office, Port Area, Manila.
Bestowed with the ISO 9001:2008 Certification for complying with all the requirements of International Organization for Standardization as an expansion of the implementation of DPWH Quality Management System, in a simple cere-mony held in the Central Office Hall on June 27, 2016, Regional Director Danilo E. Versola and Assistant Regional Director Pol M. Delos Santos received from Secretary Rogelio L. Singson the Registration Certificate as evidence of being now ISO certified. The DPWH ISO 9001-2008 Expansion Certificate is the continuing Legacy of Secretary Rogelio L. Singson, ensuring that the system process of DPWH will have a continual improvement in accordance with International standard regardless of whose leadership it maybe in the years to come.
Launching its journey towards ISO Certification last December 2, 2015, the Department of Public Works and Highways Region 10 rejoiced upon given the verdict of becoming ISO Certified last June 23, 2016.

A total of 54 Offices - all fifteen (15) offices at the Head Office, seventeen (17) Regional Offices, the five (5) Unified Project Management Offices (UPMO) along with seventeen (17) pilot District Engineering Offices, of the Department of Public Works and Highways are now certified against the requirements of International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2008 standards after the expansion of the implementation of the Department’s Quality Management System.
