Villar: DPWH completes river control project in northern Iloilo

Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar announced the completion of a P55-million flood-control structure to protect residents from the overflowing of Barotac Viejo River in Barangay Poblacion Ilawod in Barotac Viejo, Iloilo.

Citing a report from DPWH Iloilo 3rd District Engineer Flordelis C. Enriquez, Secretary Villar said the project covers the construction of a 450-linear meter river wall with slope protection, drainage and dike trail.

VILLAR: DPWH to temporary open Kennon Road going to Baguio City for PMA Alumni Homecoming, Panagbenga Festival

Public Works and Highways Secretary announced that Kennon Road will be temporarily opened to light vehicles from February 14 to 18, 2019 and from February 22 to March 4, 2019 to cater to the motorists going up Baguio City in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) for the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Alumni Homecoming and Panagbenga Festival.

Public Works and Highways Secretary announced that Kennon Road will be temporarily opened to light vehicles from February 14 to 18, 2019 and from February 22 to March 4, 2019 to cater to the motorists going up Baguio City in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) for the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Alumni Homecoming and Panagbenga Festival.

VILLAR: Slaughter House-Bypass Road in Davao now open

Department of Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark A. Villar and Davao City Mayor Sara Z. Duterte-Carpio inaugurated the Slaughter House-Bypass Road project in Davao City earlier this day.

The PhP 469-Million project covered the improvement and widening of the 2.690-Km old slaughter house road from JCT Davao City Diversion Road, passing along Ma-a Riverside Road until F. Torres Bridge.
