DPWH repairs 1.58-km road in Piñan, Zamboanga del Norte

The newly-rehabilitated 1.58-kilometer section of Dipolog-Polanco-Piñan-Jct. Oroquieta Road in Piñan, Zamboanga del Norte is now fully accessible.

In his report to DPWH Secretary Mark A. Villar, DPWH Zamboanga del Norte 3rd District Engineer Veronico O. Micarandayo said the P30.96 million reconstruction and upgrading project was implemented to restore the damaged road section which is used as an access route for locals and visitors to Piñan’s famous Manuel Resort and Mutia Alvenda Highlander Farm.

DPWH paves 2-km road to assist corn and vegetable farmers in Sergio Osmeña, Zamboanga del Norte

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is completing a P77.55-million road project that is seen to boost corn and vegetable production in Barangay Tinindugan, Sergio Osmeña, Zamboanga del Norte.

DPWH Region 9 Director Cayamombao D. Dia said DPWH Zamboanga del Norte 3rd District Engineering Office (DEO) has accomplished 92 percent of the project involving the construction of a 2-kilometer, 2-lane local road.

DPWH resumes repair of EDSA, C-5 and R. Magsaysay Boulevard this weekend

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will repair five (5) national road sections in Metro Manila over the weekend starting 11 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2019.

Director Ador G. Canlas of DPWH National Capital Region said reblocking and repair works will cover a total area of 1,878.5-square meters of road which include the southbound direction of Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) fronting Home Depot to Kaingin Road, 4th lane from center island; and after Lagarian Creek to Ermin Garcia Street beside the MRT Station both in Quezon City.

Iloilo roads prepared for Dinagyang and Kasadyahan Festivals

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) continues to deploy crew to ensure vital roads in Iloilo City are accessible and in good condition to cater to the local and foreign tourists joining this year’s Dinagyang and Kasadyahan Festivals.

DPWH Iloilo City District Engineer District Engineer Rodney A. Gustilo said prior to Dinagyang and Kasadyahan Festivals slated January 27 and 26 respectively, maintenance crew has been instructed to work on repainting of road lane markings and gutter, installation of signage and de-clogging of drainage systems.
