DPWH resumes weekend road reblocking in QC, Pasig and Caloocan
The Department of Public Works and Highways – National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) is set to resume its weekend road repair and reblocking activities in twelve (12) major roads in the cities of Quezon, Pasig and Caloocan starting 11PM of Friday, September 22, 2017.
DPWH Builds 3-in-1 Road in Bicol
Works are in progress for the Department of Public Works and Highways' construction of an alternative road with flood control facilities and health and fitness component in Legazpi City, Albay.
In his inspection, DPWH Secretary Mark A. Villar checked the progress of activities for the construction of 1.67 kilometer coastal road with joggers' lane and seawall including drainage facilities at Barangay Baybay, Legazpi City.

ROAD ADVISORY: DPWH-NCR re-opens Adriatico Bridge
DPWH-National Capital Region re-opens two (2) lanes of Adriatico Bridge (Adriatico box culvert) along Adriatico Street between Pablo Ocampo Street (old Vito Cruz) to Quirino Avenue. Built in 1985 with a span of 10 meters and 28 meters width, Adriatico Bridge over Estero de San Antonio Abad was earlier closed to traffic after an overloaded garbage truck damaged the culvert bridge on September 8.
Pre-feasibility study underway for Panay-Guimaras-Negros Bridge Project
Experts from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) Highway Consultants Co. Ltd. are currently drafting the Minutes of Discussions (MOD) for the Pre-feasibility study of proposed bridges that will link Panay, Guimaras, and Negros Island Region.
DPWH Region 6 Director Wenceslao M. Leaño Jr. said a recent meeting was held in Iloilo to discuss various details and concerns on the proposed Iloilo-Guimaras-Negros Bridge which feasibility study will be funded by the Chinese government.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has kicked off a P27 million rock netting project to prevent rock fall along major thoroughfares in the town of San Ricardo, Southern Leyte.
The project, which will utilize Switzerland’s rock protection netting technology, will be installed at Sitio Bil-atan, Barangay Camang, San Ricardo town, where rock slides occur during rainy days.

DPWH to repair 11 roads in QC, Pasig & Caloocan this weekend
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will continue with road reblocking activities to improve surface quality and increase the efficiency of road transportation in Metro Manila.
Eleven (11) road sections located in Quezon City, Pasig City and Caloocan City will undergo replacement of damaged concrete pavement starting 11 P.M. Friday, September 15, 2017.
