The Department of Public Works and Highways – National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) is set to resume its weekend road repair and reblocking activities in twelve (12) major roads in the cities of Quezon, Pasig and Caloocan starting 11PM of Friday, September 22, 2017.
DPWH-NCR Director Melvin B. Navarro reported that the affected roads in Quezon City will include the second lane, southbound direction of Epifanio delos Santos Avenue near corner Bansalangin infront of Shell; outer lane, southbound direction of A. Bonifacio Avenue between Mauban Street and Dome Street; third lane of E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue after Greenmeadows Avenue; truck lane of E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue after Boni Serrano Flyover; first lane from sidewalk of E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue corner Monte de Piedad going to Cubao; second lane, northbound direction of Mindanao Avenue after Road 20 infront of Shakey’s; second lane, northbound direction of C.P. Garcia Avenue between University Avenue and Jacinto Street; northbound lane of V. Luna Road between East Avenue and Kalayaan Avenue; and first lane, northbound direction of Quirino Highway near corner La Mesa Dam Road.
Road works in Pasig City will cover the southbound direction of C-5 Road near Lanuza Avenue and northbound lane of Manila East Road in front of SM East Ortigas while concreting activities will be done at the northbound direction of Bonifacio Monumento Circle in Caloocan City.
Affected motorists are advised to take alternate routes due to expected build-up at the construction areas with the road repair works set to end at 5AM of Monday, September 25, 2017.
