A special award of distinction from the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) – Philippine Information Agency (PIA) 6 was given to Regional Information Officer Vivian C. Tan of the Department of Public Works and Highways – Regional Office 6 for her consistent initiatives in making the programs and services of DPWH accessible to clients and her establishing of dynamic working relationship with partners and the media during a ceremony held November 27, 2015 at Roxas City, Capiz. The Department of Public Works and Highways-National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) will undertake reblocking and road repair effective 10 PM of November 27, Friday to 5 AM of November 30, Monday on the following roads in the cities of Quezon and Pasig:
Quezon City
1) Along EDSA from New York St. to K-10 St. (2nd lane from sidewalk, North bound); 2) Along EDSA from Aurora Blvd. to P. Tuazon St., Service Road (1st lane from sidewalk, South bound).
Pasig City
The Department of Public Works and Highways-Metro Manila Second District Engineering Office will undertake asphalt overlay along South Super Highway in Parañaque City between Friday, November 27, 2015 to Tuesday, December 1, 2015.
Works will affect one (1) segment or lane at a time of the West Service Road specifically between 11 in the evening and will end the following morning at 5:00 to minimize traffic disruption.
Affected motorists are advised to take other alternative routes.
