Zambo del Norte farmers benefit from new farm to market roads

Movement of products and services has now improved in Zamboanga del Norte after the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed seven (7) farm-to-market roads (FMR) in six (6) municipalities in the province.

In her report to Secretary Mark A. Villar, DPWH Region 9 Director Cayamombao Dia said that six (6) of the FMRs were completed within two months, helping farmers to transport their products to the market easier.

DPWH-Region 4A conducts strategic planning for CY 2019

Strategic planning is a must for all organizations in order to set priorities, strengthen operations and outline measurable goals.

On March 6, 2019, the Department of Public Works and Highways-Regional Office No. IV-A (DPWH-ROIV-A) conducted its 6th strategic planning activity. This tradition has been established starting year 2016 when Regional Director Samson L. Hebra realized the need for an activity that would provide a sense of direction and a venue for evaluating progress.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Pangasinan 4th District was invited thru a Pangasinan Provincial Resolution #127-2019 by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, together with the Commission on Elections, Department of Natural Resources, Department of Education, Philippine National Police, Local Government Units and other concerned agencies to participate in the “Nationwide Operation Baklas” on February 26, 2019 to fully implement the legal acumen of Republic Act 9006 otherwise known as the “Fair Elections Act”.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) - Pangasinan Fourth District Engineering Office joins the whole Christianity thru a Lenten recollection last April 11, 2019, Thursday, at 1:00 p.m. in the afternoon at the DPWH P4DEO Conference Room.

Reverend father Alvin Soriano from the Mary Help of Christian, School of Theology in Palapad, San Fabrian, Pangasinan, served as the recollection master. Father Soriano touched on workplace spirituality with the specific topic, “My Work, My Way to Holiness”.
