Even this lenten week, workers of Department of Public Works and Highways - Unified Project Management Office-Roads Management Cluster 1 (DPWH UPMO-RMC 1) are working double time in dismantling the structural steel components of the retired Estrella-Pantaleon Bridge.
The dismantling of the old bridge will pave way for the construction of new four (4) lane two (2) way bridge connecting Estrella Street at Makati City side and Barangka Drive at Mandaluyong City side.

Public Works Secretary Mark A. Villar announced that the two (2) additional lanes of Taguibo Bridge along Daang Maharlika in Butuan City, Agusan del Norte will soon be opened to the motoring public.
The announcement followed after DPWH Regional Office 13 Director Pol M. Delos Santos reported that the construction of a new bridge parallel to the existing Taguibo Bridge along the Surigao-Agusan Section of Daang Maharlika is now 98 percent completed.

A better healthcare facility was delivered by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) for the needs of residents of Barangay M. Veloso in the Municipality of Calubian, Leyte.

Bueno said that the Calubian Rural Health Unit is providing immediate and better health services to the residents of the far flung barangay and its neighboring villages following the rehabilitation of its consultation rooms, maternity rooms, and minor surgery and treatment room.
