Road Rehab Facilitates Better Access to Agri-Community in Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has recently completed the rehabilitation of a road in Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija allowing easier access to an agricultural community in the area.

DPWH Regional Office 3 Director Roseller A. Tolentino, in his report to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan and Undersecretary for Central Luzon Operations Roberto R. Bernardo, said that the Philippine Business Regulation Information System (PBRIS) Extension Lateral A-1 Canal Roadway was upgraded in Barangay Rajal Centro.

Road Widening Projects in Negros Occidental Nearing Completion

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is undertaking road widening projects along three (3) major roads in Himamaylan City and the towns of Isabela and Hinigaran, Province of Negros Occidental.

DPWH Regional Office VI Director Nerie D. Bueno said that when completed, the upgraded road sections will benefit motorists going to southern Negros Occidental and the neighboring province of Negros Oriental.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos attended on Friday, June 23, 2023 the 125th founding anniversary of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) at the DPWH Head Office in Port Area, Manila.

DPWH Completes P49-M Infra Projects in Maria Aurora, Aurora

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed two (2) infrastructure projects allowing for much-needed road improvements and enhanced flood resilience in Maria Aurora, Aurora.

DPWH Regional Office 3 Director Roseller A. Tolentino identified the completed projects funded under the 2022 General Appropriations Act (GAA) namely the concrete paving of local road network in Barangay Detailen and the provision of a flood control structure along Pacugao River in Barangay Cabituculan East.

New Access Road Connecting Naval, Almeria in Biliran, Almost Complete

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is fast-tracking the construction of a new access road that will connect Sitio Magtaran-an, Barangay Talustusan in Naval to Barangay Sampao in the town of Almeria, province of Biliran.

In a report submitted by DPWH Region 8 Director Edgar B. Tabacon, DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan said that the project which is 90 percent completed involves the construction of a road opening and concreting of 0.90-kilometer, two (2)-lane road, stone masonry, drainage structures, and application of pavement markings.
