DPWH-NCR February 26-29 Road Repair Schedule

The Department of Public Works and Highways-National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) will undertake reblocking and road repair effective 10 PM of February 26, Friday to 5 AM of February 29, Monday on the following roads in Quezon City:

  1. Along EDSA from P. Tuazon Road to North Road (1st lane from sidewalk, South bound); and
  2. Along C.P. Garcia Street from Katipunan Avenue to Ma. Regidor Street (2nd lane from sidewalk, South bound).

Bridge Widening Along Daan Maharlika

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has prioritized the improvement of the Philippine-Japan Friendship Highway popularly known as Daang Maharlika, as the Philippines major arterial road connecting Luzon with the Visayas and Mindanao Islands in the south. President Aquino Inaugurates Pavia School Building

President Benigno S. Aquino III led the inauguration of a 3 storey school building at Pavia National High School (PNHS) last February 9, 2016.

The P40 million school building project has 18 classrooms and was constructed under joint program of Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and Department of Education (DepEd).

DPWH, MCC Develops Anti-Trafficking Module on DPWH Projects

“Our projects in the field, particularly in remote areas, should not be used as platforms of trafficking in persons (TIP) activities.”

Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Rogelio L. Singson said after receiving reports that surge in construction activities and construction workers in remote places spawned the presence of various sex establishments (brothels, videoke bars and carinderias) that lead to TIP.

DPWH Advisory for NAIA Expressway Project

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) advises the public to anticipate heavy traffic build-up at Villamor Airbase Section along Sales Road, Pasay City due to connection works for the on-going NAIA Expressway Project-Phase II.

Starting this Saturday, February 13, 2016, civil works contractor DMCI will commence test pitting activities from Piers 1 to 18 to connect NAIA Expressway Phase II project with the existing Phase I.

Pres. Aquino, Sec. Singson Inaugurate Mianay-Duyoc-Calaan-Panitan Road

President Benigno S. Aquino, III and DPWH Secreatry Rogelio L. Singson led the inaugural drive through of the 2.367-kilometer Mianay-Duyoc-Calaan-Panitan Road in Panitan, Capiz last February 9, 2016.

The Road Upgrading (Gravel to Paved) along Junction National Road Mianay-Duyoc-Calaan-Panitan Road, implemented and supervised by the DPWH, Capiz Second District Engineering Office headed by District Engineer Nonie A. Viyar, has a contract amount of P45.740 Million.

DPWH-NCR February 12-15 Road Repair Schedule

The Department of Public Works and Highways-National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) will undertake reblocking and road repair effective 10 PM of February 12, Friday to 5 AM of February 15, Monday on the following roads in Quezon City:

  1. Along EDSA fronting Camp Aguinaldo (5th lane from sidewalk, North bound);
  2. Along EDSA fronting Camp Crame (3rd lane from sidewalk, South bound); and
  3. Along C.P. Garcia Street between Ma. Regidor St. and P. Florentino St. (2nd lane from sidewalk, South bound).
