Longest Boulevard in Mindanao

The 1.6 kilometers stretch Dipolog Boulevard, the longest one in Mindanao, is considered to be one of the major tourist attractions in Zamboanga del Norte in Region 9.

This popular destination in Dipolog City or the “Gateway to Western Mindanao,” is just minutes away from the business district and provides a serene haven from the bustling city life.

Agaton’s heavy rains result to rock fall in Samar

The Calbayog – Allen Route passing through Brgy. Cagnipa, Tinambacan District, Calbayog City, Samar suffered another rock fall brought about by the continuous heavy rains of tropical depression Agaton.

The rock fall happened January 3, 2018, around 2AM, rendering the whole road unpassable to all types of vehicles. One (1) SAMELCO light post and an uninhabited house made of light materials were not spared from the falling rocks. Fortunately, there was no reported casualty.
