DPWH Region 9 Director Jorge U. Sebastian Jr. said about 5,000 residents of the island barangay of Kaliantana can soon easily access the mainland of Naga upon the completion of Kaliantana Bridge that will be under third phase of construction.

DPWH Region 9 Director Jorge U. Sebastian Jr. said about 5,000 residents of the island barangay of Kaliantana can soon easily access the mainland of Naga upon the completion of Kaliantana Bridge that will be under third phase of construction.

A total of 18 flood control projects amounting to P506 million were successfully implemented by the Department of Public Works and Highways Nueva Ecija Second District Engineering Office (DPWH-NE2DEO) for the year 2017.

Works are on-going for the construction of a 720-lineal meters landmark bridge project of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) to replace overflow bridge structure connecting the towns of Sta. Maria and Cabagan in Isabela province.

In his report to DPWH Secretary Mark A. Villar, Region 2 Director Melanio C. Briosos said that the P639.6 million bridge project across Cagayan River is expected to be completed next year.
