Maghinay.

DPWH Undersecretary Rafael C. Yabut inspected the on-going construction and improvement of access road leading to the Laguindingan Airport in Misamis Oriental, July 12, 2018.

Together with Region-X Director Zenaida T. Tan and other officials, Usec Yabut visited the site construction of the P456,972,633.14 worth multi-year-programmed project at the Gitagum-Laguindingan Airport section comprising the Mauswagon-Tubajon Road and the three flat, slab type bridges in Mauswagon, Gasi and Tubajon extending to 13.9 kilometers.

The Regional Council on Disability Affairs (RCDA) - X held its Second Quarter Meeting on July 6, 2018 at the DPWH-X Conference Room, with participants hailing from various local and national government offices in the Region, in preparation for the upcoming 40th National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation (NDPR) Week Celebration on July 17-23, 2018.

Engr. Edwin L. Lopez, Area Equipment Engineer of the Nueva Ecija Area Equipment Section, announced the deployment of additional heavy equipment that will be used for the disaster response activities of the Nueva Ecija 2nd District Engineering Office.

With the influx of tourists in the provinces of Batangas and Cavite, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Mark A. Villar visited two (2) ongoing road projects on the said provinces on April 19, 2018.

Villar conducted his road inspection on the ongoing 8.667 kilometer Tagaytay Bypass Road under Cavite II District Engineering Office (DEO) with an estimated budget of P1.7B. The said bypass road intends to decongest traffic snarls in the area.
