The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has successfully completed a network development program project, focused on constructing missing links and new roads of Aguinaldo-Toboy-Natonin Road in the municipality of Aguinaldo, Province of Ifugao.

The P52-million project funded under the 2024 General Appropriations Act (GAA), involves paving from Barangay Monggayang to Barangay Toboy, thereby improving transportation routes and better connecting various areas.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has finished the construction of a flood mitigation structure along Matigay Creek in Silay City, Negros Occidental.

DPWH Region 6 Director Sanny Boy Oropel said that the 584.6-meter stone masonry structure now protects the residents of Barangay Rizal, which is in close proximity to the creek.

A 2.8-kilometer road concreting project of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) now serves as an efficient alternative route, enhancing transportation access, thereby boosting livelihood and economic activities in Barangay San Roque, Panabo City, Davao del Norte.
