DPWH Southern Leyte joins Brigada Eskwela 2017

Maintenance workers of the Department of Public Works and Highways Southern Leyte District Engineering Office (SLDEO) were deployed to help prepare classrooms, school grounds, and roads leading to campuses for the opening of new academic year.

Gideon Sacro, maintenance section chief said all field personnel tasked to maintain road shifted their focus to assist the Department of Education (DepEd) in the week long Brigada Eskwela from May 15 to May 20, 2017.

VILLAR: Governor Miranda Bridge in Davao del Norte Now Open

Department of Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar announced that the newly-widened Governor Miranda Bridge II is now formally open to vehicular traffic.
President Rodrigo Roa Duterte led the inauguration of the Miranda Bridge II which connects the Municipality of Carmen and the City of Tagum in Davao del Norte.

“The opening of the Governor Miranda Bridge is only the start of the Duterte administration’s Build Build Build program. We are committed to building more bridges throughout the country,” Villar said.

Works in Progress at Sariaya Bypass Road

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is set to complete the first segment of the 7.4-kilometer Sariaya Bypass Road Project that aims to divert traffic along the busy Manila South Road in the province of Quezon.

“With the current pace of implementation, we can possibly finish in the next few months the segment from Junction Manila South Road Daang Maharlika to Morong Bridge costing P181 Million,” said DPWH Region 4-A Director Samson L. Hebra.

Works in Progress at Sariaya Bypass Road

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is set to complete the first segment of the 7.4-kilometer Sariaya Bypass Road Project that aims to divert traffic along the busy Manila South Road in the province of Quezon.

“With the current pace of implementation, we can possibly finish in the next few months the segment from Junction Manila South Road Daang Maharlika to Morong Bridge costing P181 Million,” said DPWH Region 4-A Director Samson L. Hebra.

DPWH to Complete Concreting of Pulilan-Baliuag Diversion Road this Year

Motorists will soon have another option avoiding a congested Daang Maharlika in Bulacan, with the new 9.62-kilometer Pulilan-Baliuag Diversion Road that is now being paved by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

DPWH Region 3 Director Antonio V. Molano Jr. said the remaining embankment and concreting activities under Phase II of the diversion road project is almost complete with 83 percent of works accomplished.

DPWH Completes 4-Storey School Building in Capiz in time for 2017 Brigada Eskwela Launch

The Department of Public Works and Highways has completed a four (4)-storey, 32-classroom school building project at Panit-an National High School in Capiz.

DPWH completion of this new school building is just in time for the kick-off of the Department of Education’s 2017 Brigada Eskwela National Schools’ Maintenance Week from May 15 to 20, 2017 to prepare public school facilities for the opening of the School Year 2017-2018 this June.

The Department of Public Works and Highways has completed a four (4)-storey, 32-classroom school building project at Panit-an National High School in Capiz.

DPWH completion of this new school building is just in time for the kick-off of the Department of Education’s 2017 Brigada Eskwela National Schools’ Maintenance Week from May 15 to 20, 2017 to prepare public school facilities for the opening of the School Year 2017-2018 this June.
