2.5-billion bypass road in Pangasinan, on full swing

On-going civil works for Lingayen By-pass Road are right on track as announced by Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark A. Villar after conducting an inspection of the project at Lingayen City, province of Pangasinan.

“With the initial release of P1.28-billion, we already accomplished the concreting of 3.8-kilometers of road under the 2018 and 2019 General Appropriations Act (GAA),” said Secretary Villar.

Residents near Sabang River in Buenavista, Marinduque are the beneficiaries of recently-completed flood mitigation project of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

According to DPWH Marinduque District Engineering Office (DEO) District Engineer Josefina T. Panaligan, the completed P19-million flood mitigation structure is composed of a drainage system and channel improvement along the 1.36-kilometer portion of Sabang River.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) announced the completion of its P19.34-million road concreting project benefiting people of Barangays Camambugan and Sulong in Balasan, Iloilo.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) held a groundbreaking ceremony signifying the start of construction of five (5) farm-to-market roads (FMR) in the province of Misamis Oriental.

The concrete road projects are implemented under a convergence program with the Department of Agriculture (DA) amounting to a total of P40-milllion.

According to DPWH Misamis Oriental 1st District Engineer Marivel Ong, the five (5) FMR projects are located in Barangays Camuayan, Alipuaton, Damayuhan, Mahayahay, and Bonifacio Aquino, all in Misamis Oriental.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed the construction of Iluluan-Manawan section of the ongoing GuiCaDaLe (Guinobatan-Camalig-Daraga-Legazpi) Road leading to the new Bicol International Airport in Daraga, Albay.

The P18.8 million project funded under 2019 General Appropriations Act (GAA) involves construction of 360-meter road with 530 linear meter reinforced concrete deck girder (RCDG) with lined canal in the town of Camalig.
