DPWH Resumes Construction of Flagship Infra Projects in Metro Manila

Construction works on flagship projects of the Department of Public Works and Highways have resumed (DPWH) in the National Capital Region.

In his report to Secretary Mark A. Villar, DPWH Undersecretary Emil K. Sadain that civil works have resumes at Bonifacio Global City-Ortigas Center Link Road Project with the DPWH Unified Project Management Office (UPMO) operations strictly implementing the construction safety guidelines issued by the Secretary.

Public Works and Highways Secretary Secretary Mark A. Villar announced that a new health facility is already completed in southern Metro Manila thru collaboration between government and private sectors.

The 9th “We Heal As One’ Center was put up at Filinvest Tent in Alabang, Muntinlupa City that will augment government’s efforts against COVID-19 pandemic, said Secretary Villar.

VILLAR: ‘Build, Build, Build’ to resume on areas under GCQ

Department of Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar announced the partial resumption of the ‘Build, Build, Build’ projects.

“On areas under Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ), construction workers accredited by the DPWH will be allowed to work on quarantine and isolation facilities, health facilities, emergency and maintenance works, flood control, and other disaster risk reduction and rehabilitation works,” Villar said.

Construction of Filinvest Tent 'We Heal As One' facility begins

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has started the construction of another health facility in southern Metro Manila that will augment government’s efforts against COVID-19 pandemic.

Secretary Mark A. Villar announced that the Filinvest Tent in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, will be redesigned and transformed into 108 bed makeshift hospital.
