DPWH: Weekend Road Repairs in QC and Caloocan

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will undertake road reblocking and repairs of roads in the Cities of Quezon and Caloocan this weekend.

According to DPWH National Capital Region Director Melvin B. Navarro, the road repair and rehabilitation will be carried out from 11 PM Friday, February 2, 2018 using one (1) day concrete mix so that the affected road lanes will be fully passable at 5 AM Monday, February 5, 2018.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will undertake road reblocking and repairs of roads in the Cities of Quezon and Caloocan this weekend.

DPWH oversees Mayon evacuation camps in Daraga

The Department of Public Works and Highways is committed to finish construction of 333 temporary toilets with bathing areas in 52 evacuation sites for the Mayon Volcano evacuees as it also monitor camps in Daraga, Albay.

In his report to Secretary Mark A. Villar and Undersecretary Dimas S. Soguilon, in-charge of the Regional Operations in Luzon, DPWH Region 5 Director Danilo E. Versola said that the immediate construction of toilets will help address the need for hygiene and sanitation facilities of Mayon Volcano evacuees temporarily staying in evacuation camps.
