Tan said that the newly completed farm-to-market road is a 2-lane road project measuring 882-meters of portland concrete cement pavement (PCCP), two (2) stations of reinforced concrete pipe culvert (RCPC), and stone masonry.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has recently completed a river control structure along a portion of Bucayao River now protecting communities and agricultural fields in Barangay Managpi, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro.

In his report to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, DPWH Regional Office IV-B Director Gerald A. Pacanan said that the project completed in Barangay Managpi involved the construction of a concrete revetment pavement aimed at controlling the water flow in the Bucayao River and lessen the flooding in the surrounding area.
