DPWH Builds Flood Control Structure for Dipaculao, Aurora Residents
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed a 1.33-lineal-kilometer flood control structure to protect Barangay Salay, Dipaculao, Aurora against inundation.
DPWH Regional Office 3 Director Roseller A. Tolentino, in his report to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan and Undersecretary for Operations in Central Luzon Roberto R. Bernardo, said that the flood control structure along Salay Creek will effectively safeguards the surrounding residential areas and agricultural lands from water overflow during heavy rains.
