The DPWH Davao City District Engineering Office (DCDEO) now has a new head in the person of OIC District Engineer Wilfredo G. Aguilar.
In a simple turnover ceremony held recently at the DCDEO lobby, Aguilar formally took over the reins of the District from former OIC DE Gregorio C. Yee. The event was attended by new DPWH XI OIC Regional Director Allan S. Borromeo, Section Chiefs and employees.
Nine (9) road sections in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Regions 2, and 3 are still affected by Typhoon ‘Karen’ and are not passable due to washed-out detour road and bridge approach, landslides, soil collapse, fallen rocks, trees, and utility posts, and flooding.
Department of Public Works and Highways Region V Director Reynaldo G. Tagudando alerted his men in the field for the series of typhoons expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) this last quarter of 2016.

Residents near the rivers in Pontevedra and Pan-ay in the province of Capiz are now less worried of water overflow during rainy season with the completion of two significant river controls in the said towns.
