The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) held a groundbreaking ceremony signifying the start of construction of five (5) farm-to-market roads (FMR) in the province of Misamis Oriental.

The concrete road projects are implemented under a convergence program with the Department of Agriculture (DA) amounting to a total of P40-milllion.

According to DPWH Misamis Oriental 1st District Engineer Marivel Ong, the five (5) FMR projects are located in Barangays Camuayan, Alipuaton, Damayuhan, Mahayahay, and Bonifacio Aquino, all in Misamis Oriental.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed the construction of Iluluan-Manawan section of the ongoing GuiCaDaLe (Guinobatan-Camalig-Daraga-Legazpi) Road leading to the new Bicol International Airport in Daraga, Albay.

The P18.8 million project funded under 2019 General Appropriations Act (GAA) involves construction of 360-meter road with 530 linear meter reinforced concrete deck girder (RCDG) with lined canal in the town of Camalig.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will undertake concrete reblocking on seven (7) road sections in National Capital Region (NCR) starting 11 p.m. Friday March 6, 2020 until 5 a.m. Monday, March 9, 2020.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Cotabato 1st District Engineering Office (DEO) recently completed the widening from two (2) lanes to four (4) lanes of the Bukidnon-Cotabato Road benefitting residents in Barangay Aroman in Carmen, Cotabato.

According to DPWH Cotabato 1st DEO District Engineering Eliseo L. Otoc, a total of 2.44 kilometers of road has been added through the widening project that also included the construction on both sides of paved shoulder, drainage, and a turn-out on a portion of the road.
