The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed its retrofitting works to restore structural integrity of the decades-old Batu Bridge in Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya.
Director Loreta M. Malaluan of DPWH Region II said that the implementation of the P1.9 million worth of repair works to the existing Batu Bridge substructures made it more durable, sturdy and resistant to ground motion.

Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark A. Villar is reiterating warning against civil works contractors with delayed projects, following recent blacklisting of a contractor early this year.
