DPWH Resumes EDSA Road Reblocking This Weekend

Two (2) sections of Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) in Quezon City will be closed starting at 11:00 PM Friday, February 18, 2022 for repair.

Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) National Capital Region Director Nomel Abel P. Canlas said that motorists are advised of repair activities at the intermittent sections from Boni Serrano to P. Tuazon beside sidewalk and service road and the intermittent sections from P. Tuazon to Cubao Farmers main road beside street railings and service road.

DPWH Targets Mid-2022 Completion for Puntian-Arakan Road in Mindanao

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is continuously working to complete by June 2022 its ongoing Puntian-Arakan Road project that aims to improve access between the regions of Central and Northern Mindanao.

Secretary Roger G. Mercado said that the project, which is implemented by DPWH Regional Office 12, is a P830.87-million multi-year endeavor to provide an alternative connecting route for Regions 10 and 12 by linking Bukidnon’s Kibawe town to the municipality of Arakan in Cotabato.
