DPWH Issues Advisory for Kennon and Urdaneta Junction-Dagupan Road Users

Kennon Road will be closed to traffic from 7:00 AM of September 27 to 7:00 PM of October 3, 2016.

Department of Public Works and Highways -Cordillera Administrative Region (DPWH-CAR) Director Danilo Dequito announced that Kennon Road will not be passable to vehicular traffic during this period due to the on-going bridge construction at Camp 5 particularly at KO 235+504.

Director Dequito advised motorists to take Rosario-Pugo-Baguio Road or Marcos Highway and Naguilian Road in going to and from Baguio City.

Meanwhile, a portion of Urdaneta Junction Dagupan Road at KM 206+325 in Calasiao, Pangasinan will be closed to traffic on October 1-2, 2016 for the launching of steel girder of the on-going overpass rehabilitation project in front of Robinson’s Place.

DPWH Pangasinan 4th District Engineering Office is presently implementing the rehabilitation of the pedestrian overpass in the amount of P13 Million.

All buses and light vehicles going to Dagupan City are advised to turn right while those heading to Sta. Barbara are advised to turn left at Robinson’s Mall, respectively.

Drivers/operators of six (6) wheeler trucks and above including heavy equipment passing along Urdaneta Jct. - Dagupan Road are advised to take Calasiao Old Road while those going to to Dagupan City are advised to take Parongking - Tebeng Road.
