In anticipation of the forthcoming Holy Week, the Department of Public Works and Highways aims to provide motorists and pedestrians, as well as domestic and foreign tourists, prompt and reliable assistance ensuring them of a safe and smooth travel during this annual religious observance.
DPWH and its District Engineering Offices through its “Lakbay Alalay” Program deploy respective teams to man the Motorist Assistance Center assigned in designated areas and road sections visible along national roads and highways particularly in areas leading to churches and other areas commonly visited by pilgrims. These “Lakbay Alalay” Stations will have workforces ready to attend to clients’ concerns and cater to the needs of the travelling public.
The “Lakbay Alalay” Motorist Assistance Center will begin its operations on March 21, Monday, until March 28. Listed below are the locations of the DPWH “Lakbay Alalay” Stations:
