
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has so far reopened 21 national road sections that were temporarily closed due to landslide, damage, and flooding while teams are still mobilized to restore access along five (5) remaining impassable roads in the Cordillera Administrative Region, Region 3 and 4-B.
As of 6:00 pm Monday, July 26, 2021,the Baguio-Bontoc Road K0362+600, Busa Bridge, Sabangan, Mt. Province; Abra - Kalinga Road, K0489+900 in Gacab, Malibcong, Abra and Abra - Ilocos Norte Road K0449+715 in Nagaparan, Danglas, Abra; Junction Layac Balanga Mariveles Port Road Zigzag Section K0160+000 in Bataan and and Mindoro West Coastal Road, K0353+900, Pag-asa Section, in Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro are still closed to all types of vehicles.
DPWH Quick Response Teams were able to reopen after clearing collapsed soil and rock along Kalinga – Abra Road, K0522+500 in Bulac, Balbalan,Kalinga and the Mt. Province - Ilocos Sur Road via Tue, K0388+950, Beto Section, inTue, Tadian, Mt. Province.
Still flooded and closed to light vehicles are two (2) roads in Region 3 namely: Apalit Macabebe Masantol Road K0062+600-K0063+400 at Intermittent Sections and Sto Tomas - Minalin Road (Minalin- Macabebe Section), K0072+500-k0073+300 in Pampanga; and Bigaa Plaridel via Bulacan & Malolos (Panginay Sect.) K0030+500-K0032+000.
