Department of Public Works and Highways Region IV-A held its 1st Regional Staff Meeting in Cavite 2nd District Engineering Office in Tagaytay City on January 21, 2015 with Assistant Secretary Eugenio R. Pipo, Jr. as Guest of Honor.
ASEC Pipo reminded the Region of the quarterly targets set by Secretary Rogelio L. Singson particularly on the commitment of all the Regional Directors in attaining respective targets. He also informed the staff on the quarterly assessment of the Department and how it will affect the Region’s Collective Negotiation Agreement. In the agreement between the Secretary and Regional Offices, the CNA of each Region will depend upon their performances or result of their absorptive capacities.
Regional Director Samson L. Hebra said that the Region has been working as one family and is committed to achieve set target. With the staff rendering overtime work since December for the preparation of plans, consultations, project evaluations, and bidding schedules, Director Hebra strongly believed that they will be able to meet the goals by the end of 2015.
