A single-storey multipurpose building was purposely built for the senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs) in Barangay Ayala, Zamboanga City.
Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Regional Office 9 Director Cayamombao D. Dia said that the new multipurpose building which was completed in the amount of P2.51 was implemented by DPWH Zamboanga City District Engineering Office in the span of three (3) months.
The building can now be utilize as a venue for outreach and medical mission programs for elderly and PWDs in the city.
“This building with 93.6-square meter floor area is equipped with PWD ramp, comfort rooms and a spacious auditorium for their comfort and convenience,” said Director Cayamombao.
