The Department of Public Works and Highways 9 has completed the Upgrading (Gravel to Concrete) of Barangay Lawigan Road connecting Barangays Gabo and Lawigan of Municipality of Labason, Zamboanga del Norte.
The P10M concreting project comprises of 412.50 meters length. It provides better access to existing 380 hectares of farmland in the 2 barangays which produce various agricultural products such as cacao, coconut, coffee and rubber.
The project is part of the Convergence and Special Support Program of Department of Public Works and Highways and Department of Trade and Industry and implemented by Zamboanga del Norte 2nd District Engineering Office.
