A more convenient and faster travel is made possible with the recent completion of 2.18-kilometer road reblocking and repair along Binalbagan-Isabela Road in Binalbagan, Negros Occidental.
The P35.43-million concrete reblocking of the national arterial road implemented by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Negros Occidental 2nd District Engineering Office (DEO) is expected to provide improved travel to about 2,500 average daily vehicles passing the road section.
DPWH Negros Occidental 2nd DEO District Engineer Randolfo Melosantos said that road accidents due to poor road conditions will now be avoided with the rehabilitation of the previously damaged road section.
In addition, easier transport of farm products to bigger markets is made possible with the improvement of Binalbagan-Isabela Road which connects agricultural areas to main cities and municipalities in Negros Occidental.
