
More students will now be accommodated in Pambujan National High School (PNHS) in Northern Samar with the newly-completed learning facilities implemented under the convergence program of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and Department of Education (DepEd).
DPWH Region 8 Director Neri Bueno reported to Secretary Mark A. VIllar said the recent completion and turn over of two (2) building projects: a two (2)-storey, two (2) classroom Science Laboratory Building and a two (2)-storey, two (2) classroom Regular workshop with a total cost of P11-million.
“These newly-built school buildings will be of great significance to the students of PNHS. It will also bring comfort to hundreds of students currently enrolled and thousands in the coming years,” said Secretary Villar.
Both school building projects implemented by DPWH Northern Samar Second District Engineering Office (NSSDEO) are funded under the 2018 DepEd Basic Educational Facilities Fund.
