The Department of Public Works and Highways Leyte Third District Engineering has completed the concreting of a 200-meter farm-to market road that has a width of 2.5 meters which is expected to benefit hundreds of farmers in the village of Sulpa ,Villaba,Leyte.
An allocation of 1.9-million was spent to pave the road which was funded under General Appropriations Act of 2019.
“Farmers and motorists who are residents of Barangay Sulpa ,Villaba,Leyte will no longer have to bear in a bumpy gravel road just to transfer their agricultural products to the markets,” said DE Carlos G. Veloso.
The road completed on September 6, 2019.
