The Department of Public Works and Highways will activate the Motorist Assistance Team for the Lakbay Alalay/ Skeletal Workforce during the Holy Week to provide assistance to the traveling public.
DPWH - 8 RD Rolando M. Asis has directed District Engineers of Region VIII to create round the clock shift assistance in their respective “Lakbay Alalay” station for the period March 21-28, 2016. He further directed the District Engineers to ensure that all national roads and bridges under their jurisdiction are well maintained and passable with appropriate and legible signages and warning signs on all on-going projects, to avert any untoward incident.
All the informational and direction signs must be complete in details to guide motorist. The Lakbay Alalay Teams will provide round the clock assistance on normal and emergency situations to enhance safety of the travelling public.
