Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Leyte 4th DEO held an Automated Traffic Count Survey from June 1-2 in compliance with the National Road traffic Survey Program of the Department for 2016
Two personnel from DPWH central office joined the four budgetary personnel from the Planning and Design section and 24 Job order personnel from Leyte 4th DEO during the survey. The traffic data gathered will be used in the Pavement Management System (PMS)/ Highway Development Management-4 (HDM-4) Analysis, a planning tool which prioritizes/selects projects based on the actual needs and economic considerations.
The activity aimed to ensure the inclusion of priority projects in any funding assistance of the Department.
