The two-span Marabong Bridge located along Burauen - La Paz Road in Barangay Moguing, Burauen, Leyte is temporarily closed to vehicles weighing over five (5) tons due to on-going major repair.
In an advisory, District Engineer Gerald A. Pacanan of DPWH Leyte Second District Engineering Office said repair works will be implemented until August 20, 2019.
In the meantime, motorists going to La Paz, Leyte may take Maharlika Highway to Mayorga-La Paz road section.
Those heading to Burauen, Leyte on the other hand are advised to take Maharlika Highway to Dulag-Julita-Burauen road section.
