The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) resumes reblocking and repair works on road sections of Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA), Circumferential Road 5 (C-5), and Katipunan Avenue starting 11 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2019 until 5 a.m. Monday, April 1, 2019.
DPWH – National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) Director Ador G. Canlas identified the following sections of EDSA for repair: southbound direction from Ermin Garcia to New York in Quezon City, 1st lane from the sidewalk; and the northbound direction from 50 meters after Magallanes MRT to KM 29 in Makati City, outer lane.
Repair works will also be undertaken at C-5 Road covering the southbound direction from in front of Tiendesitas up to SM Center in Pasig City; and northbound direction fronting SM Aura to Market Market.
Also to undergo reblocking activities is the southbound direction of Katipunan Avenue, from after C.P. Garcia and J. Escaler, truck lane.
Motorists are advised to take possible alternate routes to avoid traffic slowdown in affected areas.
