Road sections of Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA), Circumferential Road 5 (C-5), Katipunan Avenue, and Ramon Magsaysay Boulevard will undergo road repair and reblocking this weekend starting 11 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2019 until 5 a.m. Monday, March 25, 2019.
Department of Public Works and Highways – National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) Director Ador G. Canlas identified the following roads for repair in EDSA which include: southbound direction of Lagarian Creek to Ermin Garcia in Quezon City, 1st lane from the sidewalk; and at the northbound direction from 50 meters after Magallanes MRT to KM 29 in Makati City, outer lane.
Repair works will also be undertaken at C-5 Road covering the southbound direction from intersection of C-5 Road and Julia Vargas Avenue in Pasig City; and area fronting SM Aura to Market Market.
Reblocking works will similarly cover the southbound direction of Katipunan Avenue corner C.P. Garcia, 2nd lane, truck lane; and at the northbound direction of Ramon Magsaysay Boulevard from Ramon Magsaysay Bridge to Pureza Street, going to Cubao.
Motorists are advised to traffic slowdown in the affected areas and to use possible alternate routes.
