The Department of Public Works and Highways – Regional Office VI (DPWH-R6) led the coordination meeting of infrastructure projects for Calendar Year 2019 held in DPWH Regional Office in Iloilo City.
Various government and private sector officials attended the meeting to give and explain the insights and summaries for the implementation of infrastructure projects.
Proposed programs and projects include rehabilitation, reconstruction, and upgrading of damaged paved nationals roads, preventive maintenance and asphalt overlay, major repair, retrofitting and strengthening of permanent bridges and construction of slope protections, drainage system and multi-purpose buildings.
According to District Engineer Rodney A. Gustilo, collaboration with the government and private sectors are needed to minimize possible delay in implementing the various projects that can boost the economy and income in the city.
