DPWH resumes reblocking in NCR this weekend

Three (3) sections of Circumferential Road 5 (C-5 Road), two (2) of Epifanio delos Santos Avenue and one (1) section each of A.H. Lacson Avenue and Batasan Road will undergo repair works effective 11 p.m. Friday, September 21, 2018 until 5 a.m. Monday, September 24, 2018.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has secured clearance of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) to manage reblocking and repair activities at the following sections of C-5 Road: southbound directions before Tiendesitas, approaching C-5 Ortigas Flyover and from Gap 3 Chainage 52 – Chainage 420, 1st lane; and at the northbound direction before MRT Avenue, 3rd lane.

Road works will also be undertaken at the southbound direction of EDSA, from in front of Francesca Tower to after Scout Borromeo, 3rd lane from the center island; and at the northbound direction from beside Trinoma Mall, 6th lane from the center island.

Other roads that will undergo rehabilitation include the northbound directions of A.H. Lacson Avenue, from corner Aragon Street and corner P. Florentino Street; and Batasan Road, from before Everlasting and fronting Quezon City Polytechnic University (QCPU), 2nd lane.

Motorists are advised to take possible alternate routes due to traffic slowdown along the areas.
