Motorists are advised that the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will undertake road repair activities in Metro Manila, which will be carried out from 11 p.m. Friday, August 24, 2018 until 5 a.m. Monday, August 27, 2018.
With clearance from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), DPWH-NCR will resume reblocking and repair on three (3) sections of Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA); one (1) in A.H. Lacson Avenue; and one (1) in Batasan Road.
According to DPWH-NCR Director Melvin B. Navarro, road repair will be on the southbound directions of EDSA from in front of Francesca Tower to after Scout Borromeo, 3rd lane from the center island and from before P. Tuazon Street, 1st lane from the center island; and at the northbound direction before North Avenue, 6th lane from the center island.
The northbound directions of A. H. Lacson Avenue, from corner Aragon Street and corner P. Florentino Street; and Batasan Road, from before Payatas Road, 2nd lane will also be repaired.
Motoring public are advised to use possible alternate routes due to traffic slowdown in the affected areas, while construction is on-going.
