Four (4) road sections along Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) and four (4) other roads in Metro Manila will be repaired effective 11 p.m. Friday, July 13, 2018 until 5 a.m. Monday, July 16, 2018.
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has secured clearance from Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) to conduct reblocking activities at EDSA southbound directions from Arayat Street to Ignacio Diaz, 4th lane from the sidewalk; from Timog Avenue to Kamuning Road, 2nd lane from the sidewalk; and in front of Francesca Tower to after Scout Borromeo, 3rd lane from the center island; and at the northbound direction from Vertis North to Trinoma Mall, 2nd lane from the sidewalk.
Other roads that will be repaired include the northbound directions of Batasan Road, from Commonwealth Avenue to Kalinisan Street, 1st lane; A. H. Lacson Avenue, near Aragon Street; Congressional Avenue, before corner Jupiter Street, 1st lane; and Fairview Avenue from Mindanao Avenue Extension to Jordan Plains Subdivision, 3rd lane.
Motorists are advised to use possible alternate routes due to expected traffic buildup in the affected areas.
