he By-Pass Roads in Candon City, Ilocos Sur and Urdaneta, Pangasinan were reported to be on-going on its implementation as informed during the recent Project Engineers Meeting at the DPWH Regional Office.
The 2.86 kilometers Candon City By-Pass Road in Ilocos Sur which now has a total of 95.77% accomplishment was reported by Project Engr. Roy R. Aruta to DPWH Regional Director Melanio C. Briosos.
Engr. Aruta said part of the accomplished construction works are sub-base course, earth works, surface course or the concrete pavement, Drainage system and slope protection works.The project has a program amount of Php148, 186 million pesos.
On the other hand Project Engineer Willer M. Bince also reported to Director Briosos, the Phase 1 of the 7.17 kilometers Urdaneta City By-Pass Road which started April 1, 2014 has already completed 81% of its Road Opening and Road-Right-of-Way settlement. The project has a contract cost of of Php89.799 Million. He added that the Phase 2 of the project with a contract amount of Php364,539.399 Million was bid out at the DPWH Central Office and awarded to BSP & Co.Inc./T.J Velasco Construction & Supply with a notice to proceed dated April 7, 2016.
