
Thirteen (13) major roads in the cities of Quezon, Pasig and Caloocan will be closed for road repair and concrete reblocking from 11PM Friday, September 29, 2017.
Department of Public Works and Highways – National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) Director Melvin C. Navarro identified the following roads for repair in Quezon City: second lane, southbound direction of Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) near corner Bansalangin in front of UniOil; outer lane, southbound direction of A. Bonifacio Avenue between Mauban Street and Del Monte Street; inner lane, southbound direction of Visayas Avenue in front of Bureau of Plant Industry; third lane from center island of E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue after Greenmeadows Avenue; truck lane of E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue after Poseidon Road; second lane from sidewalk of E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue corner Monte de Piedad going to Cubao; northbound direction of Mindanao Avenue corner Tandang Sora Avenue; third lane, northbound direction of C.P. Garcia Avenue between University Avenue and E. Jacinto Street; northbound lane of V. Luna Road between East Avenue and Kalayaan Avenue; and, first lane, northbound direction of Quirino Highway near corner La Mesa Dam Road.
Reblocking will similarly cover the southbound direction of C-5 Road near Lanuza Avenue and the northbound direction of Manila East Road in front of SM East Ortigas in Pasig City; and northbound direction of Bonifacio Monumento Circle in Caloocan City.
Motorists are advised of traffic slowdown in the affected areas and to use possible alternate routes until 5AM of Monday, October 2, 2017.
