The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) La Union First District Engineering Office advises the motoring public on the closure of Flores Street from Ice Cream house to DepEd Regional Office in San Fernando, La Union due to an on-going drainage improvement project.
Once the construction at Flores Street is completed, DPWH will also close Aguila Road in Sevilla Norte from intersection of Manila North Road to Land Transportation Office (LTO) Regional Office I.
DPWH is appealing to the public to take alternative routes and to bear with the temporary inconvenience brought by the project.
Meanwhile, the Manila North Road, Cauringan Section, Sison, Pangasinan (fronting Artacho Elementary/ National High School) that was previously closed to motorists has been reopened.
DPWH has completed the installation of pedestrian overpass along the road and it is open to types of vehicles, effective July 14, 2017.
