Six (6) major roads in Quezon and Pasig Cities will be closed for road repair and concrete reblocking from 1AM of Saturday, June 3, 2017.
Department of Public Works and Highways – National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) Director Melvin C. Navarro said that road works will resume on the second lane, southbound direction of Epifanio delos Santos Avenue between JASMS and Quezon Avenue; fifth lane, northbound direction of Commonwealth Avenue before Litex Road; second lane of Quirino Highway between B. Bernardino Street and T. Urbano; third lane of Congressional Avenue Extension between Luzon Avenue to Tandang Sora Avenue; and, second lane, northbound direction of Mindanao Avenue before Old Sauyo Road.
Reblocking will similarly cover the southbound direction of C-5 Road before Lanuza Avenue in Pasig City.
Navarro added that one (1) day concrete mix will be used for the repair works to make all affected roads be fully passable by 5AM of Monday, June 5, 2017.
Motorists are advised of traffic slowdown in the affected areas and to use possible alternate routes.
