
Forty-four (44) young civil engineers, 29 male and 15 female, were chosen as the members of the third batch of Cadet Engineering Program (CEP) of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in partnership with First Pacific Leadership Academy (FPLA). No less than officials of the DPWH led by Secretary Rogelio L. Singson welcomed the new batch of cadets who will undergo a 6-month intensive training program before they join the DPWH workforce. With the cadet engineers are FPLA General Manager and CEO Rey Agustin K. Evalle, DPWH Undersecretaries Raul C. Asis, Romeo S. Momo, Maria Catalina E. Cabral, Alfredo G. Tolentino, Assistant Secretaries Emil K. Sadain, Eugenio R. Pipo Jr., Dimas S. Soguilon, B. Elizabeth E. Yap, and Gilberto S. Reyes, Human Resource and Administrative Service Director Angela B. Abiqui, and Capacity Development Division Chief Alma M. Lim.
