DPWH Expands Operation of Hotline 165-02

Operation of a mechanism for good governance and anti-corruption program of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in the Central Office has expanded to include 16 Regional Offices.

The DPWH 24/7 Call Center Hotline 165-02 is now connected with DPWH’s 16 Regional Offices nationwide. Calls or complaints are directly routed to these regional offices for prompt action.

DPWH Secretary Rogelio L. Singson said that this will promptly address every public issue concerning the Department by having it directed to appropriate field units of the agency.

Construction of 3-classroom School Building at Agkawayan Elementary School in Mambusao, Capiz has been completed to provide more conducive learning venue for students.

Implemented by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) - Capiz Second District Engineering Office under the leadership of District Engineer Rafael C. Valenzuela and Assistant District Engineer Nonie A. Viyar, the schoolbuilding project costing P1.9 Million is part of the DPWH-DepEd Convergence Program.

Akilith, PhD. in a letter has expressed their deepest appreciation and gratitude to the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) for the granting of their request to concrete unpaved portions (gaps) from Barangay Mabaay to Barangay Tapapan.

The project has facilitated the fast delivery of basic services to the people from their community. They also commended the contractor since unpaved portions are now substantially completed providing easy movement of goods and services.
